Thankfully, 1920x1080 does not, so the game plays / looks normal when playing and recording for YouTube upload with Fraps. On a SyncMaster 305t, 800圆00, 1024x768, 1280x720, 1280x7x800 resolutions all stretch full screen regardless of the setting in the driver. They do have some interface improvements, such as for the scaling options, which are nice, so I have given it a 2 instead of a 1, but sadly, the drivers still do not seem to be able to force 1:1 scaling in all modes on all monitors. Thanks to "battleaxe231" for finding the issue. Had to cold poweroff by holding down the power button a few seconds.Īpparently the black screen is caused by windowsupdate installing the stock driver in the background, and this conflicts with the new driver being installed.

For my 9xxx series video card, I get a black screen after install in Windows 8 32-bit. Unfortunately this beta is not a good release, at least for my 9xxx series desktop card.
